Job Description

We have the privilege of working with a good-rated primary school in Smethwick who are recruiting for a full time teacher from September 2023. The position will be long-term, working within a KS2 class (which will be decided upon successful application and your preference) and will be continuing for the full academic year.

The Head is looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic individual who has a natural flair for engaging with a broad range of pupils. You will be able to identify and target individual learning needs whilst also being able to manage whole class behaviour effectively. You will demonstrate the highest regard for safeguarding, and health and safety and have a passion for delivering a first class education.

The school itself is a good-rated primary which benefits from extensive grounds to enhance the outdoor learning for all children and excellent on-site facilities across all areas of the school.  The school also has an extremely hard-working and passionate team who work hard to maintain an inclusive and supportive ethos for all pupils.

The role will be ideal for an ECT or an experienced teacher as both will be equally considered for this position; appropriate ECT mentor/PPA time will be provided for the successful candidate.
