Classroom Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting for a highly regarded primary school in Burton on Trent who are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work across KS1. This role is to start September on a full time basis.

The school have no limitations, enabling the children the best possible education and require a teaching assistant who share the same ethos and values. The team at the school pride themselves on being supportive, creative and forward thinking.

The chosen candidate will work across KS1 supporting the class teacher’s on a general basis, however there may be times you are required to work on a 1:1 basis with specific pupils or smaller groups. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are keen to learn, have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team and enjoy working with small children. You need to be committed to providing the children with exceptional learning and support, in a fun and caring classroom environment and be willing to go that extra mile. Pay is dependent on experience: £65-£80 per day.

Please note that to be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or above (in a relevant subject) or have at least 3 months referenceable experience within the last 5 years. You must be available full time.
