Zest Education are looking for a experienced, passionate 1:1 Teaching assistant to work with a Year 4 pupil in a mainstream primary school in Burton on Trent. The role is to start January 2024 on a part time basis for a minimum of 1 term.
The role itself will be working with a child with Autism and ADHD, supporting them with Literacy, Numeracy and reading. All applicants must be NVQ Level 3 qualified and have a minimum of 3 months’ experience working with children with SEND/Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will need to be confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher. The role will include assisting the teacher with classroom preparation, 1:1 work with the pupil who requires additional support, leading small group work, helping the class teacher with pupil observations and other general Teaching Assistant duties.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
