We are recruiting for a fantastic primary school in Small Heath, who are looking to appoint qualified classroom/teaching assistant to start as soon as possible.
This good primary school is a busy 3-form entry which has excellent facilities across the school to benefit both pupils and staff. The school has a strong ethos of inclusion and equality and aims to provide all pupils with a safe and secure environment to learn and grow as an individual.
The successful candidate must:
- Be NVQ Level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject
- Be consistent in maintaining high standards and good behaviour
- Have a strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Be confident, enthusiastic and able to identify and engage with different learning needs
- Be an approachable, respectful and hoenst member of the team
The role will involve general teaching assistant duties such as working within small groups, supporting below average levels of SEND, and assisting the teacher with setting up lessons etc. Experience or training with phonics and/or ‘Read Write inc’ would be advantageous but is not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
