Job Title: Classroom Assistant (Year 4)

Position Overview: Zest are seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Assistant to join a Year 4 class. As a Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of students, ensuring a positive and enriching educational experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their learning.
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources for lessons and activities.
  • Support the teacher in maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Supervise students during breaks, outings, and other school activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A patient and compassionate demeanor.
  • A commitment to upholding the school’s values and ethos.

Pay starts at £75 per day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
