Zest Education are working with a primary school in the Erdington area and are recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant/ Classroom Assistant. This role is on a full-time basis and is looking to begin in April 2022.

The school itself is a 2-form entry school which has excellent interactive resources across the school. The school is a ‘Good’ primary which has dedicated team of teachers and staff who focus of inclusion and equality and aims to provide all pupils with essential life skills.

The successful candidate must be proficient in literacy and numeracy. The role will require you to efficiently build engaging relationships with small groups of children as well as being able to work well as a team with the class teacher and other teacher assistants. You will also be required to work closely with a small group of children, providing them with any extra support they may need.

The pay of this role will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

All applicants number be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
