Zest Education is recruiting reliable and hardworking Cleaners to support schools across Derby. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and pupils.
General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards
Cleaning toilets and washrooms
Wiping surfaces, dusting, and vacuuming
Ensuring all areas are safe and presentable
Following school safeguarding and health & safety procedures
✅ Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred)
🧼 Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
⏰ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
🏫 Comfortable working in a school environment
🪪 Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
