Cover Supervisors play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment in schools. Their responsibilities include ensuring the smooth running of lessons, managing student behaviour, and providing valuable feedback to classroom teachers. At Zest Education, we understand the importance of reliable and dedicated Cover Supervisors in supporting the education system in Staffordshire.
Cover Supervisors at Zest Education not only need to possess essential skills such as numeracy and literacy, but they also need to demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young people. They are tasked with delivering pre-planned lessons to a high standard, making a positive impact on the development of students. The ability to build strong relationships with both staff and pupils is essential for creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
With part-time and full-time positions available in Lichfield, Zest Education is looking for individuals who have at least 20 days of experience working with children or young people. Recent university graduates are also encouraged to apply, as the diverse nature of Cover Supervisor work welcomes applicants from various backgrounds, including:
– sports coaching
– youth work
– dance teaching
– playgroup leadership
– scouts

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
