Cover Supervisor

At Zest Education, we work with a variety of secondary schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands that have a high demand for Cover Supervisors. These roles are available for an immediate start. We have part-time and full-time positions available. Zest Education are looking for a Cover Supervisors in Nuneaton and the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities:

• Arrive punctually to school and lessons
• Deliver pre-planned lessons to a high standard
• Manage classroom behaviour
• Leave feedback for the classroom teacher

To be considered, you will need a minimum of 20 days experience working with children or young people or be a recent University Graduate (in the last 2-3 years). Due to the varying nature of Cover Supervisor work, applicants can come from various backgrounds including: being a recent graduate, sports coach, youth worker, dance teacher, play group leader and scout leader.

Successful candidates will have:

• A strong level of numeracy and literacy skills
• The ability to deliver high quality lessons
• A passion for the development of young people
• A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both staff and pupils
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
