Zest Education is partnering with schools in the Coventry area to fulfill the high demand for Cover Supervisors. We are seeking motivated individuals to take on these roles for an immediate start, with the potential for ongoing assignments throughout the academic year.
Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing students in the absence of their regular teacher. You will be provided with pre-planned lessons to deliver in a professional manner, ensuring students remain focused and engaged throughout.
Responsibilities:
– Supervise and manage classroom activities
– Ensure students complete assigned work and stay on task
– Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
– Support students with questions and concerns
– Collaborate with teaching staff and follow school policies
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in any subject
– Previous experience working with young people preferred
– Strong communication and behavior management skills
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions
– Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
