About the Role

Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience before moving into teaching? Or do you have experience coaching, supporting, or working with young people and want to take the next step in education?

Zest Education is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Harborne and the surrounding Birmingham areas, with immediate opportunities available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a school environment while making a real difference to students’ learning.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering engaging, pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting students to stay focused and motivated
• Leaving clear and useful feedback for teaching staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for working with young people
• Good standards of numeracy and literacy
• Classroom‑based experience (desirable, but not essential)

To be considered, you must have a minimum of 20 days’ experience working with children or young people, or be a recent university graduate.
