Zest Education is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This role is perfect for those with prior experience working with children or young people, who are looking to further their career in a school environment.
As a Cover Supervisor with Zest Education, your main responsibilities will include managing classroom behaviour, delivering pre-planned lessons, and supporting students in their work to maintain a positive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience without the added pressure of lesson planning or marking.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in roles such as sports coaching, voluntary youth work, scout leading, or any other position where they have worked closely with children or young people. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and are eager to develop your skills in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage classroom behaviour effectively
– Deliver pre-planned lessons following provided guidelines
– Support students with their work and foster a positive learning environment
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children or young people
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt to different classroom settings
– A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
