This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to gain classroom experience without the pressure of full planning or marking. Ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with experience in youth work, coaching, or tutoring.
Supervising pre-set lessons during teacher absences.
Maintaining a focused and respectful classroom environment.
Managing pupil behaviour and ensuring engagement with the work provided.
Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil progress and conduct.
Someone with experience working with young people (in education or other settings).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A flexible, professional, and positive approach.
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Zest).
Full flexibility – work when it suits you.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
