Design and Technology Teacher, Birmingham City Centre

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting for a Design and Technology teacher for a City Centre Birmingham based secondary school who are committed to engaging and inspiring pupils to achieve their potential. The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of DT, able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

This is a full-time role starting in September 2022.

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
