Job Description

Zest Education are closely working with a secondary school in Bromsgrove who are looking for a drama teacher to start on a full-time basis for one academic term in February 2026.

The school have designed a curriculum that is ambitious and gives all learners the knowledge and cultural capital they need to be confident citizens and succeed in life. It is planned and sequenced towards cumulatively securing detailed knowledge and skills for future learning and employment.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of drama, able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience. ranging from £169 – £233 a day.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
