A Secondary School based in Bromsgrove are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to join their department in September 2022, there is a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Receiving an “OUTSTANDING” in their last OFSTED report, this Secondary School is always looking at being innovative and aim to equip students with the skills and experience which will enable them to be successful in the next stage of their life beyond school. Having a fresh view on this School as a centre of Education but also a workplace, this is an exciting time to join. The school has a consistent and strong leadership team.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching students how to design and manufacture with one or more of the following is desirable: wood; metal; polymer; electronics; mechanisms.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion and knowledge for the subject of DT
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
