As a secondary ECT working with Zest Education, you will have the opportunity to:

• Teach within your specialist subject area across KS3–KS4
• Develop your practice in supportive, well‑structured secondary schools
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Deliver engaging lessons that motivate learners of all abilities
• Gain valuable experience that can contribute directly to your ECT induction

We work with a wide range of secondary schools, including academies and community schools, allowing you to find an environment that best suits your teaching style and career goals.

We welcome applications from ECTs who are:

• Passionate about teaching and improving outcomes for young people
• Adaptable, confident, and eager to develop their skills
• Strong communicators with effective behaviour‑management strategies
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons within their subject specialism
• Working towards or already holding QTS via a UK‑recognised route

Zest Education is an APSCo‑audited agency committed to safeguarding children. All candidates must:

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
• Be registered on (or willing to join) the DBS Update Service
• Provide references covering the last two years
• Successfully complete all safeguarding and compliance checks

Minimum requirement: Recent UK school‑based or youth‑based experience within the last 5 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
This role is temporary supply work.
