Job Description

If you’re a passionate educator with recent school-based experience and you’re hoping for a long term placement working in a Good school, listen up.

A wonderful 1 form primary school in Lichfield, have asked us to recruit an experienced early years practitioner to start January 2023 for the academic year. The role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful practitioner will be required to work full time in a nursery class, responsible for leading and planning alongside a Teaching assistant.

This highly regarded primary school work collaboratively to provide experiences which challenge and broaden children’s lives and attitudes to the world. ALL children have access to quality-first teaching to reduce inequality and increase upward social mobility. They deliver the EYFS through a curriculum which is centered around topics and themes which the children help to generate, providing the children with an experience which they will find exciting, engaging and rewarding.

The successful candidate must be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having good classroom management skills and working within EYFS. You must also be committed and passionate about supporting children within this age group. All marking is required to be completed for the following day and ensuring the classroom is left in an appropriate manner is essential.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: NVQ level 6 qualified in Early childhood studies (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.
