Are you an ECT waiting for your chance or just waiting for the right school? Zest Education are working closely with schools across Birmingham with an extremely high demand for ECTs, one situated in the Great Barr area. Roles required include day to day cover, short-term or long-term placements to start at the start in September 2024.

The successful candidate will match the school in what it offers, giving the best to the pupils while motivating them to continually achieve more. They find being creative is a great way to make the lessons more enjoyable helps the pupils take things on board while also learning.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for his/her subjects and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team work ethic to get the best for the students.
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
  6. Good time management and organisational skills
  7. Be highly motivated to also learn while teaching

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
