English Teacher – September 2025 Start
Location: North West London
Salary: £38,766 – £60,092 per annum (Inner London MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Zest Education London is delighted to be supporting a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in North West London in the recruitment of an ambitious and enthusiastic English Teacher to join the team from September 2025.
This large, oversubscribed secondary school serves a diverse and vibrant community. It has been nationally recognised for exceptional student progress and for its commitment to transforming lives through education.

As an English Teacher, you will:
Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available for suitable candidates)
Inspire a love of literature, language, and creative writing in all students
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the English department
Work closely with colleagues to drive up attainment and support student progress
A qualified teacher with QTS (applications welcome from ECTs and experienced staff)
A subject specialist with a passion for English and a commitment to high standards
Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage learners
A reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development
A team player who shares the school’s vision for excellence, equity, and ambition
