Zest Education is seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join a “Good” Ofsted-rated secondary school in Coventry, teaching KS4. This position will commence in March 2025 and is open to both part-time and full-time applicants, continuing for the remainder of the academic year.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the school’s commitment to academic excellence and student development. We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, enthusiastic, and adept at engaging students with diverse learning needs. The successful applicant will become part of a supportive English Department, working in a conducive environment to deliver creative and inspiring lessons.
Key Requirements:
– PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
– Strong passion and deep subject knowledge in English for KS4
– Collaborative mindset to thrive in a team-oriented setting
– Proficiency in planning, marking, and delivering high-quality lessons (planning and marking required only for short/long-term placements)
– Effective classroom and behavior management skills
Both Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) / Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced educators are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
