We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join the English Department at a Secondary School in Redditch. This full-time role is scheduled to start in April 2024 and run until July 2024.
In this position, you will be responsible for teaching English to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum and be able to engage and inspire students in their learning.
One of the unique aspects of this role is that there is no planning or marking required. The school has a dedicated planning and assessment team who will take care of these tasks, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student progress.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant teaching qualification and experience teaching English at the secondary level. We are looking for someone who can create a positive and inclusive learning environment and has excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work. Rate of pay varies depending on experience, ranging from £153 – £211 per day.
