Zest Education is recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support a number of secondary schools across Birmingham during the upcoming exam seasons. This flexible, term-time role is perfect for individuals who are organised, calm under pressure, and keen to contribute to students’ success by ensuring exams run smoothly and fairly.
Supervise students during examinations, ensuring strict adherence to exam regulations
Distribute and collect exam papers and materials in an efficient, secure manner
Maintain a quiet, focused environment for all candidates
Assist students with seating, timing, and procedural questions (without giving academic help)
Monitor for and report any incidents or malpractice during exams
Support with the preparation, setup, and clear-down of exam rooms
✅ Reliable, punctual, and highly professional
✅ Excellent attention to detail and strong observation skills
✅ Calm, confident, and able to maintain order in exam settings
✅ Good communication and teamwork skills
✅ Experience in schools or previous invigilation work (beneficial but not essential)
✅ Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
