Exam Invigilators

Location: Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire

Start: ASAP

Hours: Ad-hoc / As & when needed

Zest Education are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support schools in supervising candidates undertaking examinations. This role would suit candidates who are looking for flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team of invigilators to supervise pupils whilst they undertake school and external examinations.
• Follow the guidance for invigilators provided by the examinations officer and the examinations board ensuring that regulations on conduct and communication are strictly observed.
• Prepare the examination room for each session as required by the examination board.
• Complete the attendance register and a seating plan for each examination and report absentees as required.
• Escort and supervise any candidates who may need to leave the examination room in an emergency.

What You’ll Need:

• Enhanced DBS Check (Or be willing to obtain one)
• Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator or experience working with young people.
• Flexibility to be available for various exam times and dates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
