We are recruiting for an EYFS teacher for a part time role in the Tyseley area of Birmingham. The position will be starting after Easter half term and will continue until the end of the academic year. This will be a job share position (0.5 contract) and full planning will be provided.

This popular school is a 3-form entry and has a fantastic reputation for good behaviour across all year groups and has raising academic and attainment levels every year.  The school is at the heart of a very close community and has strong relationships with the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold valid QTS
  • Be able to quickly build engaging and professional relationships
  • Have the confidence to work on your own initiative
  • Be a creative, aspirational, and inspiring individual
  • Be consistent in maintaining high standards including behaviour management
  • Have a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Have a good work ethic and a passion for education

The school supports training and development for all its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team.  Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position. There is potential for this position to be made permanent for the new candidate.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
