EYFS Teacher

A nurturing and community‑focused primary school in Nuneaton is looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher with strong nursery experience to join their Early Years team. As a result, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, stimulating and developmentally rich environment for young learners. In addition, you’ll plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning that supports children’s communication, social development and early academic skills.

Furthermore, your nursery background will enable you to confidently support children with varying levels of independence, emotional needs and developmental stages. At the same time, you’ll work closely with the wider EYFS team to maintain consistent routines and high‑quality provision. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years and ready to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher

• Delivering EYFS curriculum through play‑based, child‑centred learning
• Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting children’s early communication, social skills and independence
• Observing, assessing and recording progress in line with EYFS frameworks
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Working collaboratively with the Early Years team to maintain high‑quality provision
• Using nursery experience to support routines, transitions and individual needs

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong nursery or Early Years experience
• A nurturing, creative and proactive approach
• Confidence delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Ability to support children with varying developmental needs
• Full‑time availability with an ASAP start
• Interest in working as an EYFS Teacher in Nuneaton
