EYFS Teacher

Job Description

A welcoming mainstream primary school in Nuneaton is looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team. As a result, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, stimulating and developmentally rich environment for young learners. In addition, the school requires someone with relevant EYFS qualifications—such as QTS with Early Years specialism or an EYFS‑focused PGCE—to ensure high‑quality teaching and provision. Furthermore, you’ll plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning that supports children’s communication, social development and early academic skills. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years and ready to make a meaningful impact within a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering EYFS lessons that follow the Early Years Framework
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting children’s communication, social skills and early independence
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to observations and assessments
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS with Early Years specialism or relevant EYFS qualification
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience teaching in a mainstream Early Years setting
  • A warm, creative and child‑centred approach
  • Full‑time availability with an ASAP start
  • Interest in working as an EYFS Teacher in Nuneaton
