Zest Education is working in partnership with a fantastic infant school in Rednal to recruit a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant for a long-term position starting in September 2026 and continuing until Summer 2027.

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to create an engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for young learners. You will be supporting children’s educational, social and emotional development while helping to deliver high-quality Early Years provision.

The successful candidate will be flexible and confident adapting to a range of classroom situations and supporting across different groups and classes when needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a Level 3 NVQ qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or equivalent)
• Have previous experience working within an EYFS setting
• Be patient, caring and passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development
• Be a consistent and reliable member of the team
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be adaptable and able to work effectively across different classes and situations
• Be a strong team player who can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
