Are you passionate about working with young children in a nurturing learning environment? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at a small village school in Rugeley. This full-time role will commence in February 2024.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across both Nursery and Reception classes, providing valuable support to class teachers and assisting in the delivery of phonics instruction. Your responsibilities will include conducting 1:1 sessions with students, facilitating small group activities, and performing general TA duties to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.

In this role, you will play an integral part in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, helping young learners develop their foundational skills and reach their full potential. Your knowledge and experience in teaching phonics will be crucial in supporting students’ early literacy development.

To excel in this position, you should have a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children, a patient and caring nature, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience working in an EYFS setting or a similar role would be advantageous.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
