Full-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant – Rednal, Birmingham | Immediate Start | £90 per day
Zest Education, an award-winning Midlands supply agency, is currently recruiting for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Rednal, Birmingham.
This full-time EYFS TA position is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who loves working with young children and is committed to supporting their learning, development, and well-being. The role is set to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year (July 2026).
About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be a vital part of the early years team, working closely with the class teacher to:
Support children’s learning through play-based and structured activities
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Provide individual and group support to pupils, ensuring every child reaches their potential
Offer personal care and emotional support to children where necessary
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners as they take their first steps in education.

The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this EYFS TA role, you should have:
An NVQ Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years, Childcare, or a related field
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
Experience working in an Early Years or primary school setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils
Flexibility and reliability to support the class teacher and adapt to daily needs
A genuine passion for early childhood education
Personal care is an important part of this role, so compassion and professionalism are key.
Job Details
Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Rednal, Birmingham
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Until July 2025 (Full Academic Year)
Pay Rate: £90 per day (competitive, depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Term Time only. 8.20am – 3.35pm

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
