Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school, located in the Great Barr area, the school are looking for a qualified Female PE teacher. The role will be full time and will start after the Easter break, this will be until at least the end of the academic year..

The school believe that PE is a great way of boosting confidence in a student that can help them in other subjects and general life. They have great facilities indoor and outdoor which can make for creative and fun lessons, this is something the school want to encourage as they see physical education as really important for young adults, so making sure they enjoy it is key. It is also based in a great area for both public and private transport.

The successful applicant will be driven, passionate and creative while being able to build relationships with all students. All these attributes will help get the best out of the students, while keeping it enjoyable for both teacher and pupil. We also try and encourage the successful applicant to get involved with extracurricular activities, this shows willing and helps build relationships.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities

Rates of pay will vary dependent at on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
