Zest Education are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join an outstanding Secondary School in the Stourbridge area. This is a full-time position where planning and marking is required. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver lessons that meet the exceptional standards of the school. This role is due to commence in May 2024 and will run for the rest of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology, catering to the needs of all students.
– Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
– Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
– Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout practical lessons.
– Demonstrate a strong understanding of current food technology curriculum.
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience teaching food technology up to Key Stage 4.
– A commitment to promoting food safety and hygiene.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A passion for inspiring and motivating students.
