Zest Education are working closely with a large secondary school in North Birmingham. We are looking to recruit a long-term basis Art Teacher starting from February 2022, until the end of the academic year. The position will be full time, teaching Key Stage 3-5 (KS3-5).

The school caters for a broad range of pupils, and has a growing reputation within the surrounding areas, it is strongly focused on inclusion and equality.

If you are an enthusiastic, hard-working, and results driven individual, who has experience working with children, then this position could be for you.

The successful candidate will also be creative and passionate about the profession.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have QTS and have previous experience of teaching Art up to A level and Photography up to GCSE. Newly qualified teachers (NQT) and Early Career Teachers (ECT) will be considered.
Planning and marking will also be involved, along with all relevant meetings.

All essential safeguarding checks with be completed, prior to starting work, this will include references to cover the last two years and a fully enhanced DBS which needs to be on the update service (OUS).

All applicants that have completed the initial screening stage successfully will be put forward to the school for consideration.

Daily rates vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
