Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to inspire and nurture young minds? A welcoming and vibrant primary school in Erdington that Zest education work with is seeking a committed KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting in September 2024.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons to KS1 pupils, adhering to the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports each child’s emotional and educational development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
  • Participate in school activities, including staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and completion of teacher training (PGCE or equivalent).
  • Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young children.
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to professional development and continuous learning.
