Zest Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Lichfield that is looking for a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from November until the end of December 2025, with the opportunity for the role to continue into the new year.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and encourage progress.
Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
Provide additional support to children with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
Help promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to make a difference in a child’s learning journey.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferred).
Have previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be patient, proactive, and adaptable to the needs of individual pupils.
Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
