Full-Time Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Wednesfield. Starting asap. This role will see you working within the school’s SEND hub, providing vital support to children with special educational needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in education, with the potential for the role to continue long-term.

📚 About the Role

  • Support children within the SEND hub, providing tailored assistance to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement learning strategies
  • Assist with small group activities and 1:1 interventions
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
