Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Burton
Start Date: ASAP – May 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
Salary: £92.63 – £100 per day

The Role
We are looking for a committed full-time Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You will support teaching and learning throughout the first term, and the role may extend if the school requires it. From the beginning, you will work closely with class teachers. You will also help pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated.
Your daily duties will include:

Supporting pupils in whole-class lessons and small groups

Helping the teacher plan and deliver engaging activities

Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining a calm classroom

Assisting children with additional needs so they can join in fully

Preparing resources and keeping the classroom organised
The Ideal Candidate
You will bring:

A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent

Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school
-
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude

Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Patience, empathy, and an understanding of individual needs

Flexibility, reliability, and a genuine passion for education
