Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to lead a Year 2 class full time. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons that support progress across the curriculum.

• Position: Full‑Time Year 2 Teacher
• Location: Mainstream primary school in Lichfield
• Start Date: After Easter
• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Contract: Long‑term
• Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons
  • Commitment to the full‑time role and wider school community

What You’ll Be Doing

• Teaching a Year 2 class full time
• Planning and delivering creative, high‑quality lessons
• Marking, assessing and tracking pupil progress
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
