We are currently looking for a full-time year 2 teacher to go into a school in Telford starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. This school always puts the happiness and well-being of the children at the heart of everything that they do. They pride themselves on their safe and supportive environment which allows children to experience engaging, exciting learning opportunities which helps prepare them for their futures.

As a year 2 teacher it will be your responsibility to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and exciting lessons which are in line with the current British curriculum,
  • Plan and report progress made by the pupils to relevant members of staff and parents/careers and continue to encourage this,
  • Encouraging the children to work as part of a team and independently to achieve goals,
  • Using different teaching methods to cater to different needs of pupils in the classroom,
  • Setting high behaviour and classroom standards and expectations.

The successful candidate for this role will have to have:

  • An Enhanced DBS which is on the update service
  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the current British curriculum,
  • A passion for encouraging children’s development.
