Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is excited to collaborate with a school in Stafford in the search for a dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant. This full-time position will commence in May and continue until the end of the academic year.

As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the educational and emotional needs of students. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, facilitating group activities, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic demeanour, and a passion for working with children.

Requirements:
– Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
– Knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and teaching methods
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
– A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning and development
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare would be advantageous

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
