Zest Education is working with schools across Stoke on Trent who need passionate teachers to work within a variety of secondary schools in their local areas. The roles are flexible to work around you and your commitments.
Role – You will be required to work in secondary schools delivering high quality pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old pupils. Subjects include Maths, Science and English.
Contract – Temporary- We have part time and full time roles to start in September 2023.
Schedule – Monday – Friday.
Experience required – The minimum qualifications needed for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience within the last 5 years, teaching the British Curriculum.
The successful applicant must have the ability to:
- Manage the behaviour of students in line with the schools policies
- Demonstrate the highest standards for health and safety and safeguarding procedures
- Be both a strong team player and be able to work independently
- Be consistent in working with a broad range of pupils
- Motivate and engage positively with students
- Plan,deliver and mark high quality lessons (only for long term placements)

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
