Geography Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Geography to join a secondary school in the Warwick area. This full-time position requires teaching and planning for KS3 and KS4 students. The role is set to start in May 2025 and will initially run for one term, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:
– Teach Geography up to Key Stage 4 level
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons
– Assess students’ work and provide feedback
– Mark assignments and exams
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum
– Attend staff meetings and engage in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Degree in Geography or related field
– Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography
– Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level

Skills:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to engage and motivate students
– Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and marking
– Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
