Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school just outside Birmingham city centre, who are looking for a geography teacher to join their humanities team.

This is a full-time role starting in September 2022 for one academic term. You must have a passion and knowledge for Geography and be able to teach the curriculum through KS3-KS4.

The school which has a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating, has a personalised curriculum that will provide an educational pathway for every student that is tailored towards their individual needs and aspirations. With a relentless focus on inspirational teaching, this will be a powerful combination, and will deliver the very best possible outcomes for every student.

 

The successful candidate will have

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

 

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
