Are you an experienced Geography Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in their learning journey? We are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join the team at a dynamic Secondary School in the Tyseley area. This role is on an ongoing basis, and both full-time and part-time applications will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum, fostering a love for geography in students.

Student Engagement: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Classroom Management: Maintain a well-managed and disciplined classroom, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.

Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in geography education, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school’s community spirit.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
