Are you a Geography teacher currently looking for work or do you fancy a change? Zest Education are working alongside schools across Sandwell, with one in the West Bromwich area currently looking for a full time Geography teacher, starting in September for the academic year with possible permanent role if the fit is right. This will be to teach across KS3-KS4.

The school itself is busy, driven, and diverse, supporting all academic abilities with the motivation to get the best out of all its students. They believe a passion for the subject you teach is very valuable and should come across in your teaching, with the expectation of the pupils enjoying the lesson as well as learning. The school is situated in a popular area so is easily accessible by private or public transport.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of Geography and able to teach the curriculum across KS3 – KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.
