We are searching for dynamic and dedicated graduates to join us as Cover Supervisors in Staffordshire. Many of our previous graduates have pursued teacher training following their time as cover supervisors in our schools, making this an excellent chance to gain experience and explore your career options.

Taking on the role of a Cover Supervisor serves as a significant initial step towards a teaching career.

Position: Graduate Cover Supervisor

As a successful Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to groups of students aged 11-18 in our secondary schools. The lesson plans will be provided by the classroom teacher or another staff member, and your role will involve delivering these lessons, managing student behaviour, and providing feedback to relevant staff members.

To excel in this position, we seek graduates with a minimum of 20 days of experience working with children or young people. This opportunity serves as a promising entry point into the field of teaching.

Experience in various forms such as leading scout groups, coaching sports like football, volunteering, internships, dance instruction, or other relevant activities is highly valued.

Remuneration:

Cover Supervisors can anticipate a daily pay ranging from £72 to £85, with typical working hours falling between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
