We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging graduates to work as Cover Supervisors across Birmingham including Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Aston, Great Barr, Handsworth, Edgbaston, Harborne, Selly Oak, Moseley, Balsall Heath, Small Heath, Sparkbrook and Chelmsley Wood. We have a range of flexible working opportunities on a daily or longer term basis starting as soon as possible.

A number of graduates working for Zest Education have gone on to gain their formal teaching qualifications. Cover Supervision is a great stepping stone into working as a teacher.

The Role of a Cover Supervisor

A successful Cover Supervisor will be required to work in this secondary school delivering high quality pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old pupils.

Work will be pre-planned by the classroom teacher within school and you will be expected to deliver to students, manage behaviour and provide feedback to relevant people within school.

What qualifications do I need?

To be a successful Cover Supervisor we look for experience of 20 days or more working with children and/or young people. This role is a great stepping stone to get into a career in teaching.

Pay and remuneration:

A Cover Supervisor can expect to be paid between £80 – £90 per day. Usual working hours will be between 8:30am – 3:30pm.
