Zest Education are looking for enthusiastic and engaging graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in the Solihull area area including  Knowle, Dorridge, Chelmsley Wood, Castle Bromwich and Shirley and have a range of flexible working opportunities on a daily or longer term basis starting ASAP.

A number of graduates working for Zest Education have gone on to gain their formal teaching qualifications. Cover Supervision is a great stepping stone into working as a teacher.

The Role of a Cover Supervisor

A successful Cover Supervisor will be required to work in this secondary school delivering high quality pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old pupils.

Work will be pre-planned by the classroom teacher within school and you will be expected to deliver to students, manage behaviour and provide feedback to relevant people within school.

What qualifications do I need?

We are looking for recent graduates who have an interest working with children and are considering going on to study a postgraduate certificate of Education (PGCE).

Pay and remuneration:

A Cover Supervisor can expect to be paid between £77 – £90 per day. Usual working hours will be between 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
