Zest Education is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to serve as cover supervisors in schools across the Telford and Shropshire regions, including Telford, Wolverhampton, Much Wenlock, Codsall, Gnosall, Newport, and Bridgnorth.

Numerous individuals who worked as cover supervisors in our schools have later pursued teacher training, making it an excellent way to amass experience and determine the right career path for you.

The Position: Cover Supervisor

A successful cover supervisor will collaborate with our secondary schools to deliver predetermined lessons to student groups aged 11 to 18.

All tasks will be prearranged by the class instructor or another school staff member. As a cover supervisor, you will impart this knowledge to students, oversee their behavior, and offer feedback to relevant personnel.

To excel in this role, we seek graduates with a minimum of 20 days of experience working with children or young individuals. This opportunity serves as a stepping stone into the teaching profession.

This prior experience can take various forms, such as leading scout groups, coaching football or other sports, volunteering, internships, work placements, or providing dance instruction.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
