Headteacher Personal Assistant

A well‑organised and community‑focused school in Turves Green is seeking an experienced, highly professional, and discreet Personal Assistant to support the Headteacher. This is a key senior‑administration role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced school environment and can manage complex workloads with confidence and accuracy.

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

• Managing the Headteacher’s diary, appointments, and daily schedule
• Handling confidential correspondence, reports, and documentation
• Acting as the first point of contact for parents, governors, staff, and external agencies
• Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking follow‑up actions
• Supporting HR administration, safeguarding paperwork, and compliance tasks
• Coordinating school events, communications, and key operational activities
• Ensuring smooth day‑to‑day running of the Headteacher’s office
• Supporting wider admin staff when required

👩‍💼 What the School Needs

• Strong experience as a PA, ideally within a school or education setting
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
• Confident communication skills with staff, parents, and external partners
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
