A secondary school in the Birmingham area are in requirement of a Health & Social Care Teacher, to start on a full time basis on a long term contract from January 2024 until the end of the academic year.
The role will be teaching Health & Social Care up to A Level, in a welcoming department within a popular school.
The role requires an exciting teacher who is able to engage students and make a difference in a school that has a good local reputation, and that has high ambitions. A strong classroom presence and good teaching ability is therefore essential for the successful teacher.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- A strong passion for health and social care and to be able to teach KS3-KS4
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £153-£211 a day.
